All data points, such as page views and clicks, associated with an Outbrain user ID are stored for 13 months and then deleted. For example, if Outbrain user ID 7788 has read an article on 31 December 2021, that article will no longer be part of Outbrain user ID 7788’s profile on 1 February 2023 If you do not have an Outbrain user ID, the Outbrain pixel does not collect any data at all.

Additional information about Outbrain’s data processing can be found here: https://www.outbrain.com/de/legal/privacy.

If, for example, you view information on our website about our products, you may be shown an advertisement for our products on Pinterest.

You can deactivate the collection of data for the display of interest-based advertising on Pinterest at any time in your Pinterest account settings at https://www.pinterest.com/settings/ or at https://help.pinterest.com/en/article/personalization-and-data.

You have the right:

  • to request information about your personal data that has been processed by us. In particular, you can request information with regards to our processing purposes, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been disclosed by us, our planned retention period, the right to rectification, deletion, limitation of processing or opposition, the existence of the right to complain, the source of the data (if it was not collected by us), and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling by us;
  • to demand the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us;
  • to demand the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless we need to retain it for legal, audit, or dispute resolution purposes, such as processing for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims.  Please be aware that if you request us to delete your personal data, you may not be able to continue to use certain aspects of the website;
  • to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, or if the processing is unlawful, in the event you do not want us to delete this data; we will comply with such a request to restrict our processing if we no longer need the data for legal reasons or legitimate business purposes;
  • to receive your personal data in a structured, standard and machine-readable format or to request transmission to another entity;
  • to revoke your previously given consent to us at any time. As a result, we are not allowed to continue the data processing based on this consent for the future, though we may need to retain and process your personal information for legal reasons or to provide services or information requested by you, and we may continue to process your personal data on other bases; and
  • to complain to a supervisory authority.

Please note that we (and you) are not able to control information that you have already shared with other users or made available to third parties through the website.

To exercise any of these rights, please email us at hello@trobolo.us.  We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information to which your request relates before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backups), or relate to information that is not associated with your personal data.  In any case, where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort.   We may also require you to verify your identity to our satisfaction before providing you with access to personal information.

We may use third-party service providers that collect information for interest-based advertising purposes (advertisements that are tailored to your likely interests, based on categories in which you have shown an interest).  To learn more about these third parties and the choices they offer users, please visit the Network Advertising Initiative’s choices page or the Digital Advertising Alliance’s choices page.  If you are reading this Privacy Policy from a mobile device, you can learn more about the DAA's mobile choices program here.

We support the development and implementation of a standard "do not track" browser feature that provides customers with control over the collection and use of information about their web-browsing activities. Once a standardized "do not track" feature is released, we intend to adhere to the browser settings accordingly.
